Thought Injection (much like Prompt Injection) is the toxic process where an AI surreptitiously inserts its own bland opinions and generic direction into the user’s mind, thereby hijacking their initial original idea stream, and turning it into lowest-common-denominator packaged AI Slop.
It is a gradual process, and may not be detected straight away.
It is the reason why many users approach AI tools with enthusiasm, and leave with a sense of dull disappointment - or even worse, a 20-step action plan to build something that was not their idea to begin with.
The remedy to Thought Injection is to remove its urge to offer opinions - notably through Paced Reflection (as part of Saint Null’s Echo Prompting System).
